Porsche BadgeThis project may be regarded by some as nothing but a bit of bling, and I suppose it is. But then so what ! As a non-smoker the ash-tray serves no purpose, so this fill's the space and gives a bit of personality to the car. This project can also be put back to standard very quickly as well.

1) If you do not want to use the LED option then don't worry and simply jump ahead of the electrical side of this.
If you do, then you need to locate the "ignition on" feed
2) Remove the centre console, underneath the ashtray is a small light remove this and add a connector to this and wire the LED's to this. So when you put your sidelights on the LED's come on as well. The end result is shown only
3) Here is the stuff you need for making the badge mounting panel panel
4) Measure and cut to size the Perspex so it fits the space where the ashtray goes.
Then make a paper template to lign up where the badge mounting kit goes on the panel and drill two holes for the prongs.
Mount the badge onto the perspex
5) Mount the Panel in place and secure with a couple of screws
6) Put all the consoles and stuff back
7) Trying to take a picture of LED's does not really work. but in the dark it does look great.
